I have been very disappointed with the paint quality on my new wire wheels. They have done less than 1,000 miles and the silver paint is already flaking off around the base of the spokes. It seems the top coat is very thin. I have therefore taken the decision to refurbish a set of wire wheels and have them powder coated. I will keep you updated on progress.
